The challenge:
Service technicians from around the world regularly attend training on new machinery in Pasching. The coronavirus pandemic has made it impossible for participants from Asia to attend these training sessions in person – just at a time when Asian economies are experiencing a dynamic upturn.
The solution:
TRUMPF offered Chinese service technicians remote training via MS Teams. A Chinese interpreter from GORNIK translators for industry with regular experience in interpreting classroom-based training at TRUMPF was able to perform remote interpreting at short notice.
The results:
Chinese participants were able to complete the full training course, asking questions and actively contributing. In this way, TRUMPF’s Chinese technicians were able to acquire the technical knowledge they needed in spite of the current travel restrictions.
