THE CHALLENGE:

Service technicians from all corners of the globe regularly undergo training on newly developed machines in Pasching. The coronavirus pandemic had prevented technicians from Asia from travelling, even as Asian economies were resuming their dynamic growth.

THE SOLUTION:

​TRUMPF offered the Chinese service technicians remote training via MS Teams. Having already interpreted regular classroom-based training sessions for TRUMPF, a Chinese interpreter from GORNIK translators for industry stepped in to perform remote interpreting at very short notice.

THE RESULT:

The Chinese trainees were able to complete their training in full, actively collaborating and asking questions. In this way, despite the travel restrictions in place at the time, TRUMPF's Chinese technicians were able to acquire the necessary machine knowledge.
