As a qualified translator, I have specialised in translation and interpreting services for industrial clients for 30 years.
Together with my project managers and an extensive pool of translators, proofreaders and interpreters, we are GORNIK translators for industry.
My project managers and our freelance translators and interpreters are all qualified translators, technical experts or lawyers. With a wealth of real-world experience, they are continually adding to their knowledge.
Certified in line with the three translation industry standards, we offer customised solutions for all business areas.
I am convinced that translation has little to do with creativity: it is based on clear processes and the specialist knowledge of translators and project managers.

Our translators, proofreaders and post-editors
We maintain close working relationships with our freelance staff, no matter how great the distances. After all, services like translation and post-editing depend on the genuine interest and dedication of everyone involved. We encourage this commitment through transparent processes, and by giving our freelancers the chance to consult each other on tricky text passages. As a client, you benefit from the dual and triple verification principles enshrined by the ISO standards under which we are certified.
All translators in our team are university graduates or have at least three years' relevant professional experience. Our legal translators must be able to demonstrate at least five years' occupational experience as well as continual training. The qualifications and further education of our freelancers are confirmed by regular ISO audits.
Our interpreters
All members of our large team of interpreters hold qualifications in translation or interpreting. Before taking on an interpreting assignment, our interpreters study the relevant subject matter closely, working through hundreds of pages in the two languages. We also supply our interpreters with terminology lists to ensure they use technical terms consistently in the source and target languages. Thanks to their extensive experience and social skills, our professional interpreters play a major role in the success of your events.
